I took these photos a couple of weeks ago, but only discovered today during my visit to the San Francisco Asian Art Museum that this building is the first Hindu Temple in the West, built in 1905. Due to the bright sunlight, the beautiful light blue of the building with the deep red walls of the veranda on the third level didn’t show up well in the photos. Nevertheless, the architecture is stunning!
